Software Requests

 If you have previously been approved for software, please contact the Service Desk via Ask Navi/Live Chat for reinstallation.  To request approved or new software, please complete the Software Request  form located in  ACS Marketplace. For assistance with this, please review the  ACS Marketplace Creating Purchase Requisitions Resource Guide .

Approved and Prohibited Software List

  • Approved Software - Software that has been evaluated and meets the Society’s security and privacy standards, i.e. Acrobat Professional, Adobe Design Premium Suite, Microsoft Project, SnagIT, Visio etc.
  • New Software - Paid or Free Software not currently supported by IT and requires evaluation to ensure that it meets the Society's security and privacy standards. 
  • Prohibited Software - Software that has been evaluated and does not meet the Society’s security and privacy standards

Prohibited Software Review Request

If your software request has been denied and you want to appeal the decision, please complete an appeal form. A business case and risk sign-off at SVP or above will be required.
