OneDrive for Business is a professional library where you can store American Cancer Society work documents from your computer into the cloud, and access them from any device, or share them with others. As part of Office 365, OneDrive for Buisness lets you updated and share your files from anywhere and work on Office documents with others at the same time. OneDrive for Business will also be used in place of your home network drive. Note: OneDrive for Business is different from OneDrive, which is intended for personal storage and separate from your workplace. OneDrive for Business is also different from your Society Source team site, which is intended for storing team or project-related documents.
Outlook is the email application used at ACS that also includes a calendar, task manager, contact manager, note taking, journal, and web browsing.
Microsoft OneNote is a digital notebook that can be used from any location. You can sync it with Microsoft Outlook and other offices apps. It can also be used to share your meetings notes so everyone is on the same page.
A SharePoint Team Site is a web site that provides a central storage and collaboration space for documents, information, and ideas. A Team Site can help you: coordinate projects, calendars, and schedules; discuss ideas and review documents or proposals; share information with staff in a department or on a team.
Skype for Business is an instant messaging application widely used within ACS and other organizations. Skype for Business offers screen sharing capabilities as well as video/audio calls. Video and Audio calls is not available to all ACS staff at this time; however, the rollout is expected to most staff by early 2017.
